London by night: IceBar by IceHotel

Apart from its undeniable elegance and distinctive icons, London has an amazing nightlife. It’s so pleasant and invigorating to stroll through Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Regent and Oxford Street, on a late night, while taking in the charming dimly lit architecture. To complete the experience, a few beers in a London pub cannot be missed. On my last trip to London, I headed to IceBar by IceHotel, one of the coolest concepts in town; by that I mean not just trendy, but actually cool 🙂

A hidden pedestrianized alleyway off of London’s famous Regent Street is where you will find the refreshing bar. Going past the heavy door that preserves an exhilarating -5°C temperature (23 F), you will find yourself in an Avatar-like all-blue setting. All drinks are frozen, presented in pure ice cups. As you may expect, it’s not the most budget friendly pub you will find in London, but it is definitely worth trying. I recommend going while it’s still hot outside; the feeling of suddenly experiencing winter is pretty cool.
