Wear New York: Pack light and travel chic for this 4th of July

Fresh of my Swiss adventures this past June, I sank right into a New York state of mind last week when I attended #WearNewYork – a grassroots movement sponsored by the Gojee fashion portal, profiling the top 15 emerging fashion designers in NYC. I went to support and flaunt another of Jia Collection‘s amazing reversible dresses. As a frequent traveler that enjoys comfortable chic designs, I am always up for new dresses that pack easily in my suitcase. For this 4th of July’s long weekend, I found my perfect travel fashion fix.

After wearing the Abbee dress on multiple occasions, from day to night, I decided to try on the Adalina dress for a beachy, casual look. And even after a long night strutting the red carpet and mingling with guests, I felt incredibly comfortable yet casually chic.

Given Adalina’s reversible design, I can wear it two ways: leisurely strolling on the beach during the day, then flipping it on the other side and heading straight to dinner for a more night-time sophisticated look.
