love (luv) n.

What does LOVE mean? For you?

For me… love represents…

My family, my parents, my brother, my nephew, my grandmother. The ring I always wear to remind me of my grandfather. When my nephew recognized me after six months of not seeing me. When he pulls my hair, my ear rings and laughs. My identity. Friends, treasured friends. Love for life. Love what you do. A sincere smile to a stranger. Still love past people in your life, that contributed to the person you are today. Crying when I look at certain pictures. Being grateful for everything, good and bad, from which you’ve enriched your life with. Beautiful memories. Crazy memories. Help people. Generosity. Humbleness. God. The world. Places. Adventure. Travel. Not being scared of the unknown. Photographs. Europe. Love to write. Rain sometimes. Falling in love. Butterflies in your stomach. Someone’s eyes looking into yours and then… the world stops. Nothing else matters. That first touch, that first date. Missing, longing…  Building confidence. Trust. Connection. Passion. Fusion. Becoming one. Love letters. Relocating for someone. Sacrifice. Time. Dedicate time to people. Giving some things up when it makes someone else happier. The small things that go a long way. Surprises! Laughter. Genuine joy and laughter. Warmth.  I found you! Soul mate. FUN. Admiration. The smell of flowers when spring comes. The beach. Summer. Nature. A big blue sky. Being free. Brunch on a sunny day. Good books. Music. Wine. Pasta. Sushi. Perfumed candles and bubble baths. Red. Home. La vie en rose.

Oh well… my list can go on and on and on. There is beauty and love in everything we see in this world, as long as you keep an open mind and heart.

PS. Based on a lovely red book called Love by Karen Porter Sorenson.
