How to create a fall inspired living room

I’ve recently been following shows on HGTV to complement my major interest in home decor and in particular in creating a fall inspired living room. My favorite shows are Property Brothers, Design on a Dime, Dear Genevieve and House Hunters International. They are perfect for providing with multiple decorating ideas, often inexpensive. I love to see fixer-uppers being transformed from war zones to dream homes.

That being said, I am currently psyched with fall colors, Moroccan, French and Chinese themed decorations and that vintage feel with a touch of modern. They perfectly complement fall colors, while enhancing an eclectic feel of your abode. I have mostly used brown, orange, brick, copper, wine, burgundy and gold tones to create a rich but warm, cozy feeling for my living space, that is both comfortable, and sassy.

One very important  aspect when decorating is to make sure it represents your personality, and that it’s a workable space. If everything looks sleek but you’re afraid to touch it out of fear of staining or breaking something, than it’s not for you. I find the combination of black and white highly attractive as well, however past experience has taught me that too much white is a little risky, because of how easily it stains.

You can learn a lot about yourself through home decorating. If you enjoy the process, it can be a very enriching experience. The following listed items are set against brownish furniture, ivory tone walls, white closets, white doors and white window frames, therefore creating an intended white and red theme. What do you think?

I have purchased the above items from affordable home decor stores such as: Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1 Imports, Home Goods and Ikea.
